Bypassing Blazer
Bypassing Blazer
he idea was sparked by one of my all-time favourite films, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I kept asking myself, what if these alien clowns had to blend into the corporate world? What would they wear? Probably not a slim-fit navy blazer.
That bizarre thought became the foundation of the Bypassing Blazer—a garment that completely bypasses the conventional rules of tailoring. It's oversized, exaggerated, and proudly impractical in all the right ways, challenging what a blazer is supposed to look like while still embracing its formal roots.
And yes... there's plenty of room inside to smuggle every document, snack, existential crisis, or office supply you'll ever need.
Features:
✦ Double-breasted construction
✦ Exaggerated oversized silhouette
✦ Dramatic exposed shoulder pads
✦ Two functional pockets
✦ Constructed from durable canvas and cotton drill
✦ Built to survive the corporate circus
Each blazer is made through what feels like a one-person battle against an industrial sewing machine that either decides to lovingly eat the fabric or refuse to sew it altogether. Every piece is cut, constructed, and wrestled into existence by hand.
